Litho Circuits Ltd. took on a project of upgrading Globe Decorative lights in Cruises St. Limerick. The Lanterns had been installed over 30 years ago and were in very bad repair (see photo Retrofit Before).
The challenge was to upgrade the Lanterns to LED and return the housing to its former Glory. The paint had to be stripped back to the bare metal primed and powder coated and all damaged sealing gaskets and bulb holders replaced. The new LED Module with surge protector was then added.
This new LED arrangement gives an energy saving of 60% on the previous HPS Bulbs. The housing is now as it was the day it was manufactured and good for another 30 years. (see photo Retrofit After)
